ICD Youth Ministry is fueled by our many core members for middle and high school youth ministry. Core members serve teens as youth missionaries, walking with them in their lives, building Christian friendships with them, and leading them, by example and proclamation, into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are a young adult or adult, age 19 and older, interested in becoming a core member for ICD Youth Ministry or a teen interested in getting involved with Upper Room, check out below what each have to offer:
MS core members serve 7-8 graders of our parish. The primary role of a MS core member is to lead middle schoolers to Christ, mostly through Upper Room every 2nd & 4th Wednesday from 7-8:30PM. Through engaging activities, great community, and talks and small groups led by our core members, you have the chance to have fun and change a middle schooler’s life. HS core members serve the 9-12 graders of our parish. The primary role of a HS core member is being a leader of one of our discipleship groups, groups of 8-12 teens of the same gender and age level who meet every Sunday at Magnify. Through these groups and the community of Magnify, HS core members get the opportunity to walk with teens in their journey with Christ and lead them to a new understanding of His presence in their lives.
